The majority of the survey wanted to know about cars and automobile service:

I drive a Toyota Prius, and will never, ever buy a "conventional" car again. And I will certainly never EVER buy a car from General Motors, even if they invent a vehicle that runs on nothing but feng shui, cleans the air, and spreads happy thoughts and good cheer to everyone it passes.

General Motors is on my lifetime shit-list for their abhorrent, predatory, irresponsible behavior. It's as if GM's policy is to intentionally encourage a global climate catastrophe because they think Detroit is too cold during the winter.

And now GM has dropped their program to collaborate with Toyota on building a fuel-cell vehicle. I am certain that the only reason why GM entered into this agreement in the first place was so they could entangle Toyota in legal constraints that will obstruct their efforts to design fuelcell vehicles.

GM is a bunch of evil bastards, and I hope someone finds SOMETHING to indict them for. Please, God, let GM get busted for using Enron-style accounting!

I would also prefer the opportunity to buy a hybrid vehicle that has the option of being "plugged-in" and that can rely more on electric power for short trips. I also want thin-film solar panels on the roof, and they should sell solar powered charging stations for the home. I would also like my hybrid to be able to "jump start itself" if the regular battery goes dead.

On an issue un-related to cars, I screen all my purchases through www.BuyBlue.org I am also a research volunteer for BuyBlue.org , so when I come across a company that isn't in their database, I research it myself and contribute the research to the group.

For example, I researched every store at The Westgate Mall in Brockton, Mass. and submitted the data to BuyBlue.org .

I'd rather be shot in the chest than shop at Wal-Mart ever again.

Also, I listen to Air America Radio every day, and never miss The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. I only switch to listening to NPR if Air America is playing that commercial for "The Doctor's Nightguard."

I used to watch The Today Show, but now I watch Al Franken at 7 AM on The Sundance Channel.

I absolutely never watch Fox "news," and rarely watch CNN or MSNBC. I do watch Countdown with Keith Olberman on MSNBC a few times a week.

My favorite blogs (read every day) are Alternet.org , Daily Kos, Operation Yellow Elephant, and DemocraticUnderground.com .

Also, a survey of Democratic Underground readers shows that 56% of them watch BOTH The Daily Show and Countdown with Keith Olberman. Only 7% watch neither. See this link for details. http://tinyurl.com/7j6mc
