And Screw the oil companies!
This is something I'm very interested in doing. I have a 1980 VW Vanagon Westfalia in good running condition in my driveway, but it isn't my primary everyday vehicle. But with an internal combustion engine(ICE)to zero emission electric vehicle (ZEV) conversion it could very well become my everyday vehicle. I could keep it going well into the future, and I could stop my petro fix, and I can help save the environment all at the same time.
It would feel sooo good not to have to go to the gas station, to help put the screw to the greed of the oil monopoly, and to help stop using a non-renewable resource we are rapidly running out of that is causing serious global destruction through the production of green-house gases.
And after seeing "Who Killed the Electric Car?" last night at the theater here in San Diego, I'm now even more motivated and committed to doing this conversion.
