INNER VOICE ONE: Lord help me, but I kind of want a V-6 Camaro.

INNER VOICE TWO: Er...what? Come again?

I.V. ONE: Yep, that's right. A Camaro. Without a V-8.

I.V. TWO: What are you, a kindergarten teacher?

I.V. ONE: Uh, no...

I.V. TWO: A grandmother?

I.V. ONE: No...

I.V. TWO: A hobo. That's it. You must be a hobo. Or maybe a decorator. Interiors? That your thing? Wait - did someone give you roofies? Can you even hear me now? What's your name? Do you know where you are?

I.V. ONE: No! Yes! I mean no! You know what I mean! Hey! Seriously!

I.V. TWO: Yeah, sure. Right. Whatever. Look, I don't have time for this. Lots of manly stuff to do and all that. Busy schedule. Call me when the 400-horse V-8 drops, willya?

I.V. ONE: But the six has the horsepower of a...

I.V. TWO: Sure, sure. Go play with your dolls or something. What's hot now, Barbie? Those Bratz things? I don't really care. I've gotta go.

I.V. ONE: (sigh)

1. WOW no one on DU with passion???? Other than me?? Welll......
I know a few of you with soul. Who hear the siren song of the exhaust. Who KNOW how to adjust valves, change an injector or tune a carb. And I KNOW some of you own wonderful restored classics.

2. Dude...
I would so love to own one of these vehicles. I just traded in my Toyota Prius for a 2009 Chevy Malibu and I absolutely love it!!! As long as GM keeps making quality vehicles like these, I'll be happy. I will have a Camaro one day, but only after I get my Silverado and Malibu paid down. I hated the Prius, good gas mileage but for the price I paid, you'll never make it up. OverratedOstatus symbol...enough about my crappy Prius though. Chevy is rockin' in the right direction IMO.

3. Oh I almost forgot...
If you get a V6 Camaro instead of a V8, I will be required to hunt you down and kick your arse. ;-)

4. That car looks like the geniuses at Cadillac designed it.
Are they only offering a V-6?

They should have offered a small 8.

6s always sound like 6s.
