1. The mission of the DU True Crime Group is to discuss, evaluate, and debate national and international true crimes. The bulk of discussion will be on murder cases, solved and unsolved, new (BTK Killer) and "classic" cases ('Who was Jack the Ripper?').
2. Although anyone is welcome to participate, the DU True Crime Group is a place where True Crime aficionados can engage in frank discussions and evaluations about true crime, free of debate about the importance of crime and sensational murder cases in the context of other current events. In this Group it is inappropriate to belittle those who are interested in true crimes or to engage in demeaning or hateful speech toward members of DU who may hold such an interest.
3. The DU True Crime Group would also like to discuss books about true crime, TV shows about true crime, documentaries, and web sites, et al, about true crimes.
4. We will presume the innocence of any current suspect who has not yet been given a trial or verdict.
