Who Killed Geetha Angara?
Edited on Sat Aug-19-06 08:19 AM by XanaDUer
http://enlightennj.blogspot.com/2005/04/murder-case-of-chemist-geetha-angara.html

Back on February 8th, senior chemist Geetha Angara was murdered at a Totowa, New Jersey water treatment plant. At the time of her death, her family asked that Mrs. Angara not be forgotten and for the public to keep pressure on authorities to find her killer. We have not forgotten about the mother of three and have posted on this subject whenever new information was made available.

It’s been nearly a month since our last post, but unfortunately neither the Passaic Valley Water Commission nor the Passaic County Prosecutor has released any new information on the Angara case. We will continue to post on her case until her killer has been found and justice has been served...

2. I think there might be a flavor of anti-immigrant
feelings in her murder.

3. Yes, there might be
When I read the article at the last link you posted, this jumped out at me:

But on that day, someone at the plant asked Geetha to recalibrate some machines in the basement

Was this a task she was commonly asked to do, even on her break? Did she recalibrate the machines before she died?

I assume this "someone" has been questioned.

4. I remember this case
It is very, very strange. At one time there was a fellow employee, I believe, who left the area immediately after the murder. I thought for sure that lead might pan out but I guess not. This was from stories at The Record, which is the newspaper for that area.

I went to The Record's Web site and put in "Geetha Angara" on their search engine. This took me to an article about JonBenet, but which mentioned Geetha as an unsolved case:

Geetha Angara, 43. It's been almost 18 months since this senior chemist at the massive Passaic Valley Water Commission plant in Totowa was found dead at the bottom of a 35-foot-deep water tank. Authorities believe one of the plant's workers choked the mother of three and threw her body through an opening in the floor above the storage tank.

If this is the case, I wonder why the authorities don't move on it?

Also, on the link provided by the OP, did you notice the odd coincidence of Law and Order having done a shoot at that same water plant? The plot concerned a body in the water tank. Whew, wierd. Do you think perhaps the murderer could have gotten wind of the plot? Could it be a "copycat?"

Totawa, BTW, is not far from where I live.

Cher
