Just watched an interview with Gary Ridgeway (GRK). EW.
I've seen interviews with a lot of serial killers up close, but I have never seen one featuring a "man" so detatched from his humanity, or so utterly predatory that he couldn't even hide it for five single seconds. The evil, "I'm trolling for victims" look was always in his eyes. CREEPY. I don't support the death penalty, but, but--if it were utilized in his case, I don't really think I'd be losing all that much sleep over it. Because: broken. In a way that is not fixable. No one is safe around him.

1. Did you see when the polic chief
(former cop and detective who had been tracking him for years) called him a coward, etc.?

How Ridgeway's eyes fluttered and the cop stared him down. Wow. That cop later ran for office (as a Republican :( );still, wow.

Amazing footage.

3. (shudder)
I just wish people understood that when it comes to a serial killer THAT detatched from civilization, who has probably been that way since age 4 or 5, terms like coward don't apply. All they live for is taking lives.

4. A co-worker's husband worked with him.
For years, actually, at the same facility; they went to the same company picnics and everything. Creepy indeed. Honestly, after so many years, I never expected that anyone would be arrested for those crimes, so when they caught him, I was amazed and relieved. He truly is evil.

6. Do you know if the co-worker's husband perceived that there
was something creepy about him before all this was known?

7. It's a huge company
From what I gather, he was perceived as pretty creepy but managed to fly under the radar. He was a perfectionist at work, that much I know.

Ugh, just gives me the shivers to think about it... :scared:
