Melinda Duckett's note to the public before suicide
http://www.orlandosentinel.com/media/acrobat/2006-09/25546662.pdf

It doesn't seem like many here are interested in this case, but this seems to point ot the fact that she gave her son to someone and killed herself under the pressure.

1. Count me as one who's
VERY interested! Thanks for posting Melinda's note to the public, johnnie. I hope that little Trenton is alive somewhere...as do we all.

I'm encouraged that his body hasn't been found, but it bothers me that Melinda discarded a box of garbage bags in the trash that had two bags missing. I've watched enough crime shows to know (and since she was studying crime forensics she may have known too) that garbage bags have identifying features that can connect them to bags from the same lot. Also, tear marks along the perforations that separate the bags from each other can be matched. I hope the discarded box of bags with two bags missing doesn't mean she double-bagged Trenton's body and discarded or buried it, and threw away the remaining bags to avoid a match being made.

2. About the bags
They also said they found toys and pictures in the trash. Along with that they said to have found discarded diapers and baby food. I am thinking that maybe that stuff was in the two bags that were missing. I think a lot of stuff came out that was not correct. The news station down there released a lot of information that was quickly withdrawn as bing incorrect.

I think little Trenton may still be alive. I don't think that Josh is as angelic as he is coming across. He had tried to take out a protective order against his mother not long ago too, he was denied. His father is in prison for raping and murdering a little girl back in the 80s. There is a lot to this case and I am still hoping that the little guy is found alive.

3. Oh good.
I knew about the discarded items (toys, photos, baby food) but I didn't realize they might have been discarded in the missing bags. That cheers me up considerably. I really hope that's what happened to the two missing ones, and that Trenton was given away and not murdered.

From what I've read on the case, I am sure Josh isn't all that angelic, and I had read that about his father being in prison for raping and killing a little girl, but geez, it sounds as if Melinda wasn't playing with a full deck either.

None of it matters as long as the little boy is okay. Such an innocent darling.
