Watched a really interesting documentary on the History Channel about the Zodiac killer yesterday.
It went over some of the ways the S.F.P.D. tried to identify him after they re-opened the case in 2002/3 (somewhere in there, I forget exactly what year they re-activated it). Did you know that the print left by the heel of a person's hand can be used to identify a suspect, the same way a fingerprint can? I think that's fascinating.

who focus entirely on the Zodiac killer/killings? I mean, I know serial murderers like Bundy and Jack the Ripper have hard-core fans, (the so-called "Ripperologists" have been fueling something of a cottage industry for years now) but I didn't know Zodiac was that popular.
