Truman Capote- 'Infamous'

If anyone hasn't seen this 2006 version of the Capote biograph, they're missing something. Even Phillip Seymore Hoffman would admit Toby Jones captures the Capote persona probably as well as it can possibly be. The movie itself might not be better then "Capote' which came out a year earlier, but in a way it's more honest ...Truman fell in love with the killer Perry Smith (i recall as a child reading 'In Cold Blood' and seeing in a study guide a psychological profile that mentioned Smith's bisexuality- and his shame of it, which really explains how a basically humane guy like Perry Smith could murder 4 innocents) and 'Infamous' goes where 'Capote' doesn't dare go........
Infamous is a great movie...actually better then "Capote' though that's debatable. 'We' today are hogtied by our love, admiration, trust and faith in the youngster Bush- and that defies sense! Yet it's true. Truman Capote's story, of the misfit redefining fit and fit fighting back using bullyboy tactics etc, is the eternal story of good versus no fucking good, if yaknowhatimean...
