Convicted killer in the 1969 "Dreamland Park Murders" dies in prison -

One of the Pagans gang members convicted in the kidnappings, rape and murders at Dreamland Park, PA in 1969 died of natural causes whils eerving a life sentence. The only other person convicted for this is still in prison.

This was a very scarey crime, and I am not certain everyone involved was prosecuted. Fortumately a life sentence here in PA actually means life, not 15 or 20 years as it might elsewhere. These guys were terrible people, and deserved worse.
The kidnappings occurred less than 5 miles from my home, and less than a mile from our former house.

Mr. Stolsfus, one of the murderers has just died, and the other is supposedly very ill - he recently asked to have the remainder of his life sentence commuted to time srved, but this was rejected by the county District Attorney, who stated,"He has never shown any remorse over these crimes and I am not concerned..." about his health. He remains in prison.

This place is just a few miles from our home.
We pass the old park several times a month, and never realized it was the murder site.
