Bob Somerby of The Daily Howler: Routine Hillary shill, or shrieking liberal asshole?

Just curious what everyone's take is.

I mean, he's HATED Keith, absolutely HATED him, and insulted his intelligence, integrity, etc., sixteen ways come Sunday, since day one. I can only conclude that not being a rightwing nut but allegedly on "our" side, he has a problem with the MSM in general, as in, a huge chip on his shoulder that he is a mere blogger doing what he does out of the supposed goodness of his heart, while other people like Keith get paid millions of dollars a year to do essentially the same thing. You know what my reaction to that is: "Cry me a river."

But now it seems to be getting worse. I suspect this is because he's a Hillary shill, and thus has a deeper than ever emotional investment in making any liberal/progressive voice in the MSM who doesn't line up behind her look like a brainless Obamabot. At least I hope that's all it is.

My feeling: He needs help. Badly. He reminds me of one of those people they joke about in mental hospitals who thinks he's an army general leading his troops into battle against an enemy no one else can even see. The attendants gently humor him because they're not sure what he will do if they ever break him of the delusion. They sense it is essential to his basic functioning and that without it, he'd pretty much fall apart.
