is an old timey wide ratio film technique. Usually used for sweeping epics. When they get to TV, they have to adjust the ratio, and it squeezes everything together and people end up really tall and thin. You can tell it's going to happen because the credits usually read that it's filmed in "inemascop".

Glad she's there. I know Gore was more her ideal candidate, at least at one time, but if he wanted to run he'd have run. He didn't run. And as fractious as things have been these past months, I think it would have been a mistake for him to come down like the god in the cloud at the convention and become the "compromise candidate" after Hill and Barack did all that campaigning and spent all that time and money trying to get the nomination.
