1) Keith's mattress, at one point in the history of the intertubes, had its own blog. (It wasn't even written by one of us.)

2) In one of the Gull Bay installments, Keith was tied up on a mattress in the boiler room of the Clubhouse. Bleever, peeking through the keyhole, lost his other eye when a snap went flying off of the Rev and Sparky, who has disappeared into the ether. Thus, he now has to wear an eyepatch, which works well with his pirate lifestyle.

2) One night, on the way home, I hit a mattress on the highway. I have a Mini, so my car got stuck on the mattress. Still living it down.

It was so amazing. Ever since Edwards did his thing in Grand Rapids, I've been dreaming of Gore doing this here, but I never expected it to really happen. I volunteered at the event and had no idea he was going to be there on my way down to the arena. We were all standing around outside being herded like cats in a very disorganized manner that Will Rogers would be proud of and I got a text message from Obama. I started jumping up and down like an idiot when read it. It said that Gore would be endorsing and there would be live video at 8:30 p.m. Well, of course, I knew right away that that meant he would actually be there. I was kvelling!
