Looks as if MSNBC has already canceled the news and started in on Documentary Hell, so we won't even get Rachel tonight. Hope all my fellow EDVs have a great long weekend and come back Monday for whatever MSNBC throws at us. Who knows, after glutting himself on baseball for five days straight, maybe Keith will even be in a mood to return to the desk. We can always hope.

I thought we'd at least get some Rachel tonight. Guess the news is on holiday break already. I spent over an hour trying to clean up my flower bed when got home today since it's not too hot out. It was getting really overgrown from all the rain we've had. I didn't finish it, but made a lot of progress.

Good to hear the garden is coming along. The macaroni and cheese is well underway here, and I'm ready to begin the weekend -- if I can ever get the smell of gasoline out of my nose.

6. Tonight on "Lockdown: Northside Park".

Take a look inside a world rife with potato salad, burnt chicken, and hot dogs grilled until they burst into grotesque shapes.

Here, people are exposed the to sun to the point where its powerful radiation burns their skin.

In this world, it's not uncommon for the night sky to become ablaze with explosions. Some people resort to giving their dogs powerful sedatives to keep them from being driven crazy by the cacophony.

And all too often, alcohol is involved.

Hours in the sun can cause common men to fall asleep in the afternoon. Our hidden cameras are there to capture these men as unabashedly nap in public parks, creating hours of footage of their families pouring ice water over their heads, light strings of Black Cats under their lawn chairs, and decorate their faces with Jell-O and popcorn.
