13. Poor Keith was terrified the moment I shoved him in the carrier.

I put Keith and CC together in a large carrier, along with several scraps of turkey. Keith howled for about 5 miles, then CC threw up. (The vet is in Green Bay, 30 miles away. She's worth it!)
In other words, they did fine. :)

Miss Kitty used to cry like a human infant when I took her in, but as soon as the vet got hold of her, she calmed down.

He crouched low the whole time, and never made a sound... but at least he let her examine him.

CC, on the other hand, took it upon himself to tour the whole office, exam rooms, entrance, etc. They decided he was the self-appointed ambassador of the Cat Care Clinic. :)

129. I gotta say: Keith had absolutely NO excuse for putting Jason Bateman on the end of the show.

No newsworthy excuse, that is, anyway. That one was motivated by sheer friendship alone.

It was just what you'd expect a conversation between the two of them to consist of: Keith begging for the umpteenth time for any news about a possible Arrested Development movie ("Keith, for the millionth time, there is NO news, okay??") and some inside bitching and moaning about their fantasy baseball league, all wrapped up with the real reason Jason was invited on the show to begin with: he and Keith were hitting a ballgame afterward.

I mean, Richard Lewis and Harry Shearer are his friends too, but at least there he had a slender peg on which to attach their appearances (Richard plugging the new release of his book, Harry plugging the Bushmen CD). And he had a reason for Bateman to be on last summer because he was plugging a movie he was in. This time, it was strictly an FOK (Friend of Keith) appearance. Nothing else. "C'mon, let's go to the ballgame."

Sometimes I wish I had Keith's job!
