Yo KOEBers! :loveya:

I think I told ya'll I got laid off and now I'm a campaign manager for a local candidate? Anyway, this campaign is kicking my ass and I had to get rid of my cable to save dough so I'm not around much but I'm thinking of ya'll! Especially with the news about Rachel's show! Am very tempted to call Comcast and reinstate the cable but realistically I can't afford it; campaign manager work doesn't pay very well. MSNBC and Comedy Central are the only channels I miss anyway, and I don't have time to watch much TV, hah

Anyway, this job is fun (sort of, some days it's like banging your head on a wall) but I have to admit I'll be glad when November rolls around. WAY more work than I thought possible -- and there is always something else to be done. It's a lot more fun to be a volunteer and sort of do what you want, when you want. Haha.

:hi: Anyway, just dropping by to get the reaction on the veep news -- much as expected, lol. Did you guys see in GD P, Clark2008 got TS'ed? :( We hadn't chatted much lately but I always liked her.

How are all you guys?

1. Hey Crispy!
Glad to hear from you! Sorry to hear about your job, but glad you're working on a campaign. :) I wondered what happened to Clark2008. I haven't see her in ages in the KOEB. :(

2. Hi O Crispi One!
:hi: We have missed you. Sorry you can't join us reegularly, but it's good to hear from you and good to hear you're getting good work experience even if it doesn't pay well. Hope you're keeping the Pink Fuzzy Handcuffs for us.

Clarkie got TS'ed? I did not know that. I suppose I shall have to reserve comment, but I always liked her too, even if she didn't have lots of time to spend with us after the baby came along.

I'm holding up and hoping life gets better--which it just may do. And I'm OK with Biden. I'm just glad it's done with--now on to November and victory!

Take care, crispi!

4. Hey, Crispi!
Great to see you. I'm so thrilled about Biden! I couldn't sleep all night -- kept checking my phone and finally saw the message at 4:30. I got up then and got on DU ASAP.

Sorry you lost you job, but glad you got involved in a campaign.

I hadn't seen Clarkie around in ages -- I had no idea she was around at all. What in the world got her TSd?

5. Hiya, crispi!
Thanks for the news. Go get 'em.

Saw Clark earlier in a thread. Her TS trajectory was pretty much that she thought Biden was a losing pick, as was Obama, and that she'd given up. Nothing nasty, just couldn't support the ticket at all.

Best of luck with your campaign.

6. She couldn't support the Dem ticket? Period?
Neither half of it? Dayum.

Please don't tell me she was advocating Gramps.

You know, there's such a thing as getting too hooked on a person or people as THE only ones who can do what needs to be done, and that's a big danger, because right now we don't need a particular person to be our savior; we just need salvation, period. And of course, it would never come from the president and VP alone; they would need our participation regardless.

Even if I had to hold my nose and vote for Hillary + Whoever, I would have done it, because as much as I doubted her ability to bring us more than four more years of the Clintons, at least it would be four more years of the Clintons and not four more years of Bush. ANYTHING (unless, say, Cheney was running for pres on the Dem ticket) beats four more years of Bush. A Bay Air on roller skates smoking a cigar beats four more years of Bush, or four new years of McSame.

:hi: Crispi

What is that you say about wanting to get laid?

I am sure any company or organization would be lucky to get you
on the payroll .... I hope your candidate wins big time and that your
cuffs bring you lots of fun.

8. Hi, girl!
How nice to see you. I didn't know about Clark. Wow. I said hello to her a couple of times over the past few months but she never responded. I tried not to take it personally.

Sorry to hear about your job, but it's great that you're helping out the local candidates. :patriot:

You don't need to watch Keith to come by and say hi, so do it and don't be a stranger. We miss you! :loveya:
