1. THIS IS FUCKING INSANE.
Analysts, schmanalysts. They've been DEMOTED.

Since when is David Gregory considered a cool, impartial commentator? Since he danced with MC Rove?

Ohhhhh, make no mistake about this. This is the right wing smacking MSNBC upside its head and leaving a mark.

This is just the first step...the first step in getting Keith off the air altogether.

And they will not quit until they do.

2. Hey Pats, can we call it Facism yet??
I'm so disgusted by this news. If Tom Brokaw, Brian Williams and Mrs. Greenspan (Andrea Mitchell) can be considered "impartial" I have a bridge to sell ya.

David Gregory is a shill and has been for years. He just didn't start it dancing with KKKarl,
he's been at it for a long time.

Well, f*ck MNSBC except for Keith at 7:00 pm and Rachel at 8:00 pm CDT.

Looks like when I get back from Ireland, I'll have to catch C-span.

3. Sign Petition to Keep Keith Olbermann on Election Coverage
Please sign this petition and spread this around. It has already gotten close to 2k signatures in a few hours.

NY Times has reported that NBC is taking Keith Olbermann off anchor duties from election night coverage. Seems to be due to Mcnasty operatives whining to NBC execs that they were afraid coverage was not unbiased. Read more here:

http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/msnbc/msnbc_removes_olbermann_matthews_from_anchor_election_duties_93756.asp

This is so bogus. What is this?? Smells of r o v ian m af i a

BTW I really like Keith O. and Rachel M. although I may not agree with everything but they are replacing Keith with David Gregory. Ick! and boring and a k. r ov e drone. Please go to this site and sign this petition:
http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/bringback/

If they get rid of Keith there really won’t be unbiased reporting!

5. OK, here's what I wrote in my comments:
How DARE YOU silence Keith?
And, how CAN you silence Tweety?

4. Nothing surprises me anymore
Note to MSNBC lurkers: You can find this former MSNBC election coverage viewer on the span. Can't wait for your ratings to tank (and they will).

6. On NPR news this afternoon:
Keith was silenced for his comments about the 9-11 tribute. Tweety just got caught up in the crossfire. :eyes:

7. I guess the corparate powers finally said "Enough!"
why else would MSNBC relegate two of their "stars" to the sidelines. Don't get me wrong, I am not a big Mathews fan, but KO is and I would assume CM is as well, 2 of their largest draws. If this was strictly a programing decision, or even an NBC decision, ratings are what counts. I suspect this came from higher up, regardless of what the "official" story might be. Smacks of GE to me.
