Our county Dems have a big Phil Hart dinner every fall. Well, they hadn't picked a date for this year's yet because they were waiting to see who they could get for a speaker and what their availability would be. Of course, they were trying for Barack, Joe or Hillary. Well, I got an e-mail today that they got Hillary and the dinner is....a week from Saturday! They have 9 days to put together a dinner for 1000 people and they don't even have a location yet. There's no time to send out printed invites like they usually do, so it's all got to be promoted via e-mail and word of mouth, etc.

I'm actually looking forward to hearing Hillary. She's off my shit list and I've never seen her in person.
