Update on Dusty Springfield

Not such good news, but she got acupuncture today and she is feeling very chipper now for such a sick kitty. They almost wouldn't let her come home from the hospital yesterday after her nose scope procedure because she was running a very high fever. We went to visit her and while we were there kissing and petting her, her temperature went down enough to take her home.

Biopsy won't come back until Friday, but she has a tumor growing inside her nasal cavity, a kind of big one unfortunately, probably malignant. So, thanks for all your thoughts and good wishes. We are pretty hopeful in spite of things, and treating it homeopathically for now. The acupuncture was amazing. She just walked up to my friend, bumped heads with her, and sat in front of her waiting for the points to be found and patiently sat while they needles did their work for fifteen minutes. Then, she turned around and looked at my friend, made a small gesture, and kind of told us it was time to take them out. Patiently waited again, and then purred and sauntered out of the room.

I wish I didn't have to go out of town this weekend but two of the offspring and Mr. Bunny are here to comfort her until I get home.

4. Poor little thing.

I didn't realize they did acupuncture on cats. Glad it worked for her. You and Mr. Bun will be showering her with love, I know, whatever the results are, and will take good care of her. I do hope the tumor is not malignant but if it is, knowledge is power and you can use it to decide what to do.
