Sec. of State Jennifer Brunner,
If you don't answer this e-mail I will understand seeing as this is
your busy season. Forgive me for be so bold
as sending you my 2 cents on trying to keep the election fair.
Public Service Announcements idea ....
Hello I am Sec. of State Jennifer Brunner and as Ohioans your all have
the following rights:
1) You have the right to cast a ballot if you are registered and you
have the right to know that
your votes will be counted.
2) Nobody has the right to remove your name from Voter Roles
(Rolls???) to gain a political advantage.
3) Nobody from any political party is allowed to challenge your right
to vote.
4) You have the right to vote early or to cast a paper ballot at your
place of voting on election day.
5) You have the right up to (give the date) to register to vote.
6) You have the right not to be given false information about where
you vote or the date you vote
on by anybody or any organization. If you have been given such
information by telephone, letter,
or an e-mail please contact my office @ (phone # and e-mail link). < [br /> Being a judge and up on all that
fancy legal stuff is there anything you can do to people who provide
bogus voter information ... something
w/ teeth too ... a small fine to the repugs is just a cost of business
.... ???? what about a class action
civil suit or civil rights challenge ]
So please make sure you vote this fall because Democracy works best
when everybody's voice is heard.
all the best
tom
For all your hard work.
