(The London terrorist bombings are the biggest cause for our malaise, I think. If Blivet gets on my tv blathering about Londoners 'stoicism in the face of terror' I'd better not have anything heavy near me or my tv is a goner. Nobody ever asks: Why should they have to be 'stoic'?)

Anyway, I'm sitting here with my cat next to me, watching my plants fry and praying for rain. Looks like New Orleans will have to take a hit from hurricane Dennis for that to happen, talk about mixed blessings! Don't appear to be any good choices this week.:shrug:
