It doesn't record crap unless you remember to set all the buttons JUST SO (like you have to hit the effing VCR button every time you want it to record on timed tape even after you've just put a tape in it and SET it to do just that) or it doesn't work. As for DVDs, it records on only -RWs, which are like murder to find, and it doesn't play back ANYONE else's homemade DVDs.

thing. I know he's said he's for civil unions and not gay marriage, but its obvious the proposition was timed to embarrass him as well as strip away a hard won civil rights accomplishment for gay people. I really think Obama, who gave one of the most moving speeches on race among many other moving speeches can give another speech or statement talking about this issue in terms of civil rights, not gay rights, and shame some of the Democrats (and of course I don't think it was mostly Democrats who voted yes) who may have voted yes, into realizing the hypocrisy of it.
