The only thing I read today on the subject. My head is spinning just from reading the 'titles' of threads today.

My conclusion from the little I've read today (avoiding a DU migraine), disappointment with O's decision, seems 'tone-deaf' and needlessly devisive , disturbingly so, on the heels of Prop 8. Hope (yes I used that word) that he can turn it around, in so many ways, once he takes office.

Too exhausted to write more, and yes, saddened by it all.

2. I typed earlier that I hadn't read the news or seen news reports in two days

too busy with holiday stuff but did come on and read Melissa Etheridge's great sane response to all the brew-ha-ha about Rick Warren. If Melissa could write and put out such a heartfelt and non-devisive statement, I certainly feel better about others coming around (although DU has been unreadable and in shambles in recent weeks, so its going to take a few more people to turn that car around.

I'm more hopeful after reading what Melissa had to say. Haven't listened to Randi for a week, just haven't been able to, she is great friends with Melissa, did M calm her down?
