As we enjoy the holiday season with our loved ones, let us also remember those who gather together every weeknight
to celebrate the news of the day:



I know the next two weeks will be hard on us (especially when Countdown's not on), but we can still get together.
I'll be dropping in from time to time, but I'll be in Georgia for a much-deserved vacation after Christmas.

4. O the weather outside is frightful

My 70+ year old neighbor sang that to me yesterday, as I was walking home from the store. Boy, did that put a huge smile on my face!

5. I wish to add my sentiments to all those expressed here already.

Don't know when we'll next have an excuse to gather. MSNBC is heading into a three-day "Lockup Marathon" as of today. Yep, as usual, nothing says "the holiday season" like a prison documentary!

If someone prominent dies, Keith may come back early--otherwise, we may not see him between now and January 2, at least. Perhaps not until the 5th. The time may be eaten up by guesties like Tamryn and reruns of "Favorite People of 2008" (although a new Special Comments Special would be nice).

Of course, those of us starved for a glimpse of him prior to that do have one comfort: NBC football! That's how I will be satisfying my Keith fix! It may not be much, but it helps get you through the Countdown drought.

So enjoy your time with family and friends, KOEB'ers! And in the meantime, because we all will miss Oddball, don't pass up this Christmas Eve news out of Flori-duh:
