:hi: Looks like Keith still has Christmas shopping to do. He's already started in with the year-end specials...

...so, anyone else home??

6. Hi Sharon!
I'm thinking that it's now looking like spring before I can get out your way, as our weather has pretty much hobbled this area right now.

SeaTac is a real mess. Alaska Airlines cancelled all flights over yesterday, and through most of the day today. Yikes! We rarely EVER get weather like this here!

If you saw Mike Rogers on Hardball, it appears this will blow over. Even he seems to feel Warren is coming around -- he took down some language on his website already and Mike is calling for him to meet behind closed doors with representatives of the gay community. Mike didn't sound upset at all.

And my $5 fake Charlie Brown Christmas Tree, the only one I could find this year (we were snowed out of going to find a real one):

34. I made latkes last night
for only the second time in my life, and the first time was probably about 30 years ago.

What a mess my kitchen was by the time I was done! And my food processor did a great job on the potatos, but decided it didn't want to do the onion, so I had to do it by hand. My eyes were horrible!

53. I don't know what happened
I never use it.

The recipe I used called for a large blade for the potatos and the pieces were really thick. They were good, but I'm used to my mom's, where the batter is more like batter than giant pieces of potato. They were like thick hash browns and took longer to cook.

61. I grated I don't know how many potatoes one year
and I couldn't find a bowl large enough to keep them all immersed in so they didn't oxidize. Some were okay looking, and some were really ugly, but they tasted good. There's no way to make latkes and not have a gigantic potato starch mess on your hands.

Picking Sarah Palin as one of your "favorite" people is the worst pick you've made since...well...no comment.

Honestly, he reminds me of a college roommate I once had who was terrified of spiders...but if she ever came across one, would sit by it transfixed, staring at it constantly while pleading with me "Ooh, kill it."

Loved Keith's tautology: "People who like this sort of thing will find this the sort of thing they like." Can't argue with that!

because Keith loves me. :loveya:

Um, I mean "you." Even if it was a Time magazine ripoff.

Man, that night. It gets me every time.

Does anyone get the impression Keith just said goodbye to us for the year? Does someone have to die for him to come back before January 5?

I sure hope not.
