and now President Obama and First Lady Michelle have gotten out of the limo walking down the route!! It's a great moment!

The news on Ted Kennedy is guarded but optimistic, thank God. Sen. Byrd is doing fine but obviously he's pretty upset by seeing his comrade laying up in pain the way the news reports have come in. So, we should get a better idea of their progress tonight on Countdown.

I had stopped in the grocery store for a minute when I heard about Teddy -- the baggers were talking about it. Didn't hear about Byrd.

but later reports stated that he's fine, but was very concerned about Ted's condition so they removed Byrd from the room as a precaution. He's not in the hospital but Ted still is at last report.
