...as Keith so ably demonstrated Thursday, what Ann Coulter knows about her own alma mater, Cornell, and the State University of New York she could fit in her ass and still have plenty of room for her heart.
It's really simple. The ag school at Cornell is a contract college affiliated with SUNY, that receives some SUNY funding...BUT IT ISN'T PART OF SUNY. It gets some money from the same funding pool as the state university system, because hell, it's an ag school, and most states do at least provide partial funding for ag schools (and for some strange reason I do not personally know, Cornell's communications program is in its ag school). But Cornell's ag school is not part of SUNY; it's only "affiliated" with it. It's part of Cornell, and, as Keith showed us all quite graphically, its graduates earn Cornell University degrees. Which makes Keith's undergrad degree every bit as Ivy League as Ann Coulter's (as if that matters anyway)...only far more well used.
Well, now that we all know how Ann Coulter feels about people she believes have "mere" state university degrees, the steel cage match with Camille Paglia (SUNY Binghamton '66) should be ON! Now THAT I can't WAIT to see! Reeeowrrr!
