Those came today when Randi came back on the air. Now I'm trying to figure out why I used to like her so much. Going from Nancy to her was like running from a meadow into a brick wall. The difference is astounding.

Skinner (DU Skinner) wrote me back they were having a glitch. It was fixed pretty quickly.

What happened to all the people around here who hated her three months ago? All I've seen is people peeing all over themselves with excitement that she's back. I stayed away -- no point disagreeing with them and saying how much better and easier to listen to Nancy is. I hadn't realized just how annoying Randi's voice could be until I listened to Nancy for three months.

She had three months with nothing to do but sit around, so they had lots of sex, she stayed in her jammies all the time and she sometimes didn't even shower. Why would Howard even want to have sex with her?

At least Nancy's a lady. She doesn't talk about her private life on the radio.

I don't know why, but I just feared she would say something about the city that I didn't like. Maybe it was that she's only been there for a few months and tried to drop in things like The Washintonian and the same pat joke about Dupont Circle being a pain to drive around like she had lived there forever. I don't know.

And talking about the azaleas this time of year reminded me of how beautiful they are.

Her voice really grated on me now -- it never bothered me before. People complained about Nancy's giggle, but Randy's laugh is seriously annoying.

After three months of Nancy, it was awful. I nearly cried the first few minutes. See my post upthread about how she told us that she and Howard had too much sex and she got chafed and got a urinary tract infection and had no insurance when she went to the doctor. It was non-stop talking by Randi and then she took some callers and talked again. No guests, of course. Just Randi,Randi, Randi. I didn't stay at work late to listen to the last hour like I did with Nancy's show, so I didn't hear it. Now, I have to decide who to torture myself with from now on -- Rush or Randi.
