I am too. I've seen so much rain in the last few weeks mushrooms are growing on my street! Every time a line comes in from the west it rams right into PG County, and I'm right where I-95 and Rt. 50 meet. I only hope this will be it after this week.

Otherwise I'm doing pretty good.

We are doing ok. One kitty (Ayja) have chronic kidney failure but after scaring me to death a few weeks ago he seems to be doing ok. He goes back in for blood test Monday but is acting like he feels better. Part of what goes when all you animals are elderly. So far crossing fingers the rest stay healthy.

Has your rain finally stopped?

The every day, all day rain has stopped. We still get our daily summer 4:30 in the afternoon thunderstom though.

about 15 mins. Then right after everything green glows and it smells so fresh. Something I miss.

You can set your watch by 'em. I work on the edge of the Everglades, so they usually last a while, and they suck to drive through.

41. I always tried to avoid driving in them.

Way too much water for the wipers usually. I guess being in central Fl meant shorter rains. Anything is better right now than days and days of gray rain we have been having.

The youngest sister is in DC for a couple months working and she is screaming daily about the rain. She thinks it is just awful that it has the nerve to be raining at 7 am. :rofl: She heads back to Orland in July, I figure then it will go into a drought here. I kind of forgot how easy it is to set your watch to afternoon rains and that it was rare or hurricane weather for all night and early morning rain.
