The last piece is in place--a hot, muggy summer! On the plus side, Lake DeWitt was filled in so at least there will be no mosquitos from that source. No, they will have to fly up from the river. :popcorn: Wonder if they'll play "Hot August Night" at the ballpark?

but normally, Keith displays about as much interest in the All-Star Game as he does in American Idol. And he doesn't even bring a Princess on his show to talk about it.

You can tell his restless leg is still bothering him when he's posting after 1 AM. About the 1899 Cleveland Spiders. Oh, and his tweet-like missives from Yankee Stadium this past weekend (just headlines, no blog--apparently it was too hard to blog there, and Keith was probably beginning to understand why people tweet at all) are pretty funny too.

2. That's an in-joke Berry.

The last daytime All-Star Game took place in the old, round Busch Stadium in torrid weather about 30 years ago. That stadium in good old hot, muggy weather could melt the rubber soles on the players shoes. We have been forgiven! I forget who said it but, when asked he said, "It (the stadium) holds the heat well."
