I'm a little out of it at the moment. My drive home took two hours and fifteen minutes. The last drawbridge (five minutes from home) was broken, so I had to go 10 miles out of the way, all around the bay, in bumper to bumper traffic, for an additional hour and fifteen minutes of fun. Aside from the primal scream I let out on US-1, it was a huge waste of time and energy.

I would have left my car right where it was and slept on it. I almost decided to get a hotel room and start drinking instead of taking that loop.
