Message from RevCheesehead - move update

Hello all

I just got off the phone with Pope Cheesey and she asked me to let you all know that the move is complete.

She now faces the unpacking adventures and as soon as she finds, unpacks and sets up her computer she will be back on line to join the KOEB floaty heart posters. (She found her pizza oven is in the upstairs bedroom and the boxes marked garage in the bedroom closet, she isn't sure where the computer may be.)

She also asked that I ask you all for your vibes, prayers, good wishes, positive energies as one of her cats, CC, didn't make the move with her. During the packing of her former home and the moving out process, that silly ole cat escaped. He made it out and hasn't been seen since and she is lost without him (and worried to death).

The folks from the church are posting CC's photos around and they have been looking for him and have promised to find him so she can get him, there is an effort to find him underway.

So please help her out, say some prayers, send some vibes, reach out to a saint or two and help her reunite with CC.

She sends out floaty hearts and promises to check in as soon as she gets settled and set up.

Is she sure CC made it out? Is she sure he didn't just hide somewhere in the old place? I once had a cat I didn't think I'd ever find who I also thought got out during a move...not so, little devil just hid herself so well I almost left her behind.

I say, the first place to look for him is in her old place...or have him looked for there for her. Dollars to doughnuts he's there hiding out somewhere, scared to death.

7. That's wonderful news!

She'll have a good time unpacking. I've been in MD almost 3 years and I still have yet to unpack all my stuff. Besides, I'll be moving again before the year's over so I know what it's like.

8. there's been a CC sighting!

I got a call from my friend Sue, who told me at least two people spotted him near the trailer park in town.
Yup, it's official .... my cat is orange white trash.
They're gonna try to catch him w/a humane trap. I suggested using whipped cream from a can (one of his fav treats). If they can't catch him by Saturday, I'll drive up there and drag him home by the tail, if necessary.

Thanks, Merh, for giving everyone the update. The computer guy was here today, and we got everything but the living room TV box working.
I'll be back sometime next week.

I'm so glad CC has been found. Please get to him quickly before he vanishes again. Cats can be like that sometimes.

Glad to hear all is well in your new crib. Have fun unpacking 'cause I know that all too well. In fact, my office is moving to our new facility in MD right now as I write this, so I took today off. I'll start going there on Monday rather than going into DC. Fun all around :sarcasm: . Anyway, once you get settled, drop by the Clubhouse when you can. We miss you so much!

sending lots of vibes for catching him soon and safe. You have to watch those CCs, they are slippery beings and find trouble without looking for it.:) When I first read about him taking off I reminded myself that he was smart enough to find a chicken coop to hole up in when he was a lonely little kitten so at least has some street smarts. Hope you are reunited soon though then you can worry about getting unpacked and settled in.
