But no wonder it has been swollen for the past month, and the antibiotics weren't working.

52. Oh yes. I was pulling weeds, and a morning glory fine got caught

under the fingernail. When I yanked on the weeds to pull them out, I hurt my finger. Had no idea it was broken; just thought I had sprained it. Two weeks went by, and no reduction in swelling, so went to my doc. She put me on antibiotics, and 11 days later, still no change, so she sent me to an ortho doc. They took an xray, and saw that the tip was broken. Now it's in a splint.

If you haven't watched on YouTube his JFK assassination coverage, you should. It's in multiple parts (about 5); you should watch them all (including "As the World Turns" and the commercials) to get the proper context. I was too young to remember, so it was quite educational.
