19. Yes it is. This winter, we had 3 solid weeks of snow. Three big

snowstorms in the space of two weeks. Many people like me were stuck at home for an entire week. This stuff does NOT happen in Seattle!

23. One day of snow in DC and the entire area shuts down!

With the way things have been going I can say for the most part I'm long overdue for some snow days. In the meantime, I know the coming month is gonna be a hot one!

26. Wow, really? Lots of east coasters laugh at Seattle when we get

snow. But what they don't take into account is that this city is built on hills. There are streets that the city HAS to close when it snows, otherwise trying to get down them would be a suicide run.

There's a big difference between driving on flat roads, and driving on hills when it snows.

Back in the 70's and 80's, I saw so much snow it was crazy! All I had to hear was school's closed and I was happy as anything! The last real big one I experienced was in '96, and no one went anywhere for almost 2 weeks! I wasn't working during that time so that was good for me in a way.

I can also press his button and hear him say "Which of these stories will you be talking about tomorrow?" "Let's play Oddball!" and "Today's WORST - PERSON - IN THE WOOOORLD!"

I was thinking earlier today, though, that while it IS sad that this is still going on, I think it was good that Obama handled it this way, rather than just saying, "Let's move on" or worse, ignored the whole thing.
