2. I'm glad you're here
Edited on Mon Jul-25-05 07:07 PM by SharonRB
I was able to give John Conyers a kiss for you (and Bleever)! He stuck around and talked to people after the Town Hall before he got on his conference call with the other meetings -- Randi, Stephanie, Joe Wilson, et al. I managed to make my way up to him and thanked him for all he does and told him a few people on Democratic Underground asked me to give him a kiss for them. And then I kissed him on the cheek. He said I was so sweet.

7. It was a great event
We had about 7 or 8 DUers there. Symbolman flew in from Hawaii to tape it -- I guess he raised money here on DU. Livvy said she sent him a few bucks.

My new crush is Jim Marcinkowski. He's one of the former CIA guys who was on the hearing on Friday. He's assistant city attorney for a neighboring town to mine. Conyers met him on Friday and invited him to come on Saturday. Even my husband mentioned how good looking he was on TV, but he was way hotter in person. And he was just wearing a t-shirt and cargo pants because he had come right from the airport when he got back from DC. He was at the Wilsons' house on Friday night, as he's good friends with them. I told him what a great interview Joe gave to KO on Friday night.

"hotties list"

I prefer the term "good people." It's more like a list of people that need to be corrupted stat to be sure they stick around once the rapture comes respectable.

Everyone at the National Clark Meetup went home with this stomach virus and then both my boyfriend and his parents had it.

I'd say I fought it as hard as I could, but the minute that time of the month hit, my resistance lowered and, "BAM!" I got it.
