11. I watched it happen, and I was powerless to stop it.

As I'm listening to Chuckie, I said, "Don't start spreading rumors, Chuck." An hour or two later, the Politico and AP stories came out. This was now late Saturday night.

Sunday morning I check the news sites and there's nothing about this "death of the public plan". By the time Sebelius had finished the sentence, DU exploded, the news agencies picked it up, and the trolls and hand wringers kept posting "We're DOOOOOOOMED!!! threads. Like every week, the WH comes out and says, "What? Where the hell did you get that?" But it's too late. All the liberals are screaming that the sky is falling, which makes the MSM continue to write that the sky is falling and so on, and so on, and so on.

I call it "The same thing happens every time".

Melissa Harris-Lacewell and Shannyn Moore. Shannyn was shocked so many people knew who she was. She's so sweet, and so is Melissa. Melissa's significant other is running for mayor of NOLA. Unfortunately, I didn't take pictures of either of them.

I also met a great candidate for congress from Virginia. Her parents made a big mistake, though. Her name is Krystal Ball. Seriously. She really needs to change her name.
