Three weeks after announcing -- again -- that he had retired from the NFL, Brett Favre has decided to return -- again.
The former Packers legend, who was traded from Green Bay to the Jets last year and retired after the 2009 season, arrived in Minnesota
Tuesday to sign with the Vikings. He was expected to agree to a one-year contract worth as much as $12 million once he passes a physical.
Favre had informed the Vikings just before the start of training camp that he had decided to remain retired, this after fueling speculation for
weeks that he would come out of retirement. After Favre told the Vikings he was staying retired, head coach Brad Childress said the team
would not revisit the idea of signing Favre at a later date.
So much for that idea.
