they keep going off at an earlier and earlier time each morning. If you set your regular alarm clock to 6:30, the feline alarm clock may go off at 6. Then if you get up at 6 because the feline alarm woke you up, the next morning, it'll go off at 5:30. The morning after that, 5, and so on.

The basic principle is that if it was successful in waking you up and getting you to feed it a half hour earlier than you planned, why not an hour earlier? Hour and a half? Two hours?...The faster it wakes you, the faster it gets fed.

The only way to re-set most feline alarm clocks is to feed them BEFORE bed and un-train them from expecting breakfast as soon as you wake up again. Otherwise, it's 4:30 and you're listening to "Meow, meow, meow."

They really need to improve the calibration on those things.
