10. I haven't heard anything other than what Keith has mentioned here and there on the show,

namely, that he's been in the hospital, and talking a lot to Keith about things he never talked about before.

Keith absent on a Tuesday, after having been there on Monday...that doesn't bode well. But he could be at the Mets game. That's what I tell myself, anyway.

I'm wondering if maybe he didn't go to LA this summer like he usually does because his father wasn't well and he didn't want to be far away. Now they have Lawrence doing the show from LA. It could be that he's just playing baseball hooky again, but one doesn't know.

New species of python invades South Florida


WEST PALM BEACH, FL--A recent string of discoveries in the swampy area of the Tamiami Trail suggests the African rock python has settled in, including a 12-footer, a nine-foot female carrying 37 eggs, and even a small hatchling.
"The good news is we learned about this much sooner than we did the Burmese pythons and so we will have a handle on it and there is no reason to believe these are snakes that are in the wild. Most likely they have escaped from somewhere,” said FWC Spokesperson Pat Behnke.

The African rock python is similar in size and appearance to the Burmese python, but it's considered more aggressive.

Curator of the Palm Beach Zoo Keith Lovett says the fear is that these African rock pythons will go after Florida's native wildlife and even interbreed with the already problematic Burmese pythons.

"You could also have an animal that could easily be bigger or potentially even more aggressive, so you're basically playing with nature at this point and this is not a species you want in South Florida," said Lovett.

Wild Cargo Pets quit selling the African rock pythons because they were too aggressive and now they won't even sell Burmese pythons due to irresponsible pet owners. In fact, they get calls daily from people desperate to let them go.

"They want to get rid of them, they can't keep them, they can't afford the money to have it chipped or get the license and we don't take them,” said Barbara Dupont. "I wonder when I hang up the phone, what are they going to do with those snakes."
