Me in Santiago de Compostela
Edited on Mon Oct-12-09 04:58 PM by WolverineDG
in front of the Cathedral on my last day. The sun actually came out for about 5 minutes so we could take pictures in front of it.

3. Did you make the pilgrimage on foot?
Whether you did or not, it must have been an inspiring trip! Wow!

4. Yes, most of it
You have to walk the last 100 km, whichever route you take. I started at the 790 km mark, in France, & to save time, I took the bus or the train from time to time. :) :hi:

6. Good for you.
I read Rosemary Mahoney's account of making the same trip (in The Singular Pilgrim) and would guess you would need to take breaks again and again. But what a trip to make! You'll have that experience to recount your entire life.

8. Welcome home.
You look like you are ready to start all over again in that picture. Be proud of yourself, you made it in spite of bras, face plants and bedbugs. Remember the good parts of the journey and let go of the bad (except for funny stories to tell) and always that you made it. I don't think I would ever make even a small part of that trek, I am in awe.
