Cheese Update: no luck yet.

Hi everyone. I went back up to Algoma on Wednesday morning and spent all day in the rain walking the neighborhood, crying myself hoarse yelling for that damned cat. Hey, if it's raining, I'M not gonna want to move either! I stayed until 7:30, because I wanted to get home to see the Monty Python repeat at 11 pm... and it was clear the little bastid wasn't going to show up that day. Sigh.

Thursday, I went to Dad's and we met with his attorney, to transfer power of attorney to me. Another milestone, but I'm really doing OK with it (surprisingly). It was sad, though, that for the first time my dad asked me where my brother lived, and what he did for a living. But by the time the attorney showed up, he knew everything. Maybe he's just confused when he first wakes up - I don't know.

Thanks for all your good thoughts and prayers. I couldn't survive without good friends like all of you!!!
