Well, don't expect to see much of Keith this week.
First, today is You-Know-Who's birthday. And he has to do something to show her some attention, given that he's spent so much time with his dad and family and at his job lately. Hell, we'll be lucky if he doesn't come out of tonight engaged. (And if he doesn't, it will only be because she said "Not yet"--or he still won't ask her because he knows she'll still say "Not yet.") Anyway, he needs to really pump her up today because I suspect she hasn't been getting as much attention as usual, so he has to make up for lost time by really putting on the dog.

("Keith, honey, don't you think we should be celebrating a certain wonderful thing that happened 26 years ago?"

"What? Reagan invading Grenada?")

Then it's World Series time...complete with the Yankees. They have games Wednesday and Thursday at Yankee Stadium. Why not take Jake to his first Series? Or at least watch it with Dad from wherever they have to watch it? You know he will. We won't even go into how Philly is just a train ride away, so technically there's no reason why he couldn't hit EVERY game, assuming he feels OK about leaving town given his dad's health. Just our luck the Yankees had to get in.

In short, expect to see a lot of Lawrence O'Donnell and David Shuster this week.

Happy October. :-( Keith is going to go have a life on us.
