29. Pretty good, all things considered.

On my way home from Dad's tonight, I was first on the scene after a car/deer accident. The damned buck (at least an 8-pointer) was lying on the road, and as I drove past, IT GOT UP!!! I called 911, and reported the accident, then went back to see if the driver was OK. The damned driver was nowhere to be found. I guess he left the car and went to the nearest farm to call 911. As I drove back, the damned deer was UP and STANDING in the middle of the road!

Before I left Dad's, I said out loud "Do NOT hit a deer.." at least twice as I went out the door. Sheesh.

Other than that, I'm fine. And so are the kids. :)
