I mean, how responsible can just one person be for the failure of the BCS to make any sense at all? How effective can that one person be to change the system? Or, take the "crisis management" of steroid freaks. How much can one person be blamed for trying to get you out of the mess you made of your career?

This is Ari "working" a low effort, high reward scenario. I mean, if you sign on as the captain of a listing ship, no one can blame you if it sinks because it was so bad to begin with. Plus, you really didn't have to work that hard to try and fix it, because no one thought it was possible anyway.

This may be the most brilliant career plan ever!
