A completely asinine study to see how they can stop doing something that all they need to do to stop is to stop doing it.

Duncan Hunter went back to the problem with the showering (oy) and the commeraderie in the foxholes and how disruptive it would be if, suddenly, people knew you were gay. Of course, he didn't mention the disruption to the soldiers when a member of the platoon has to leave because of an outmoded prejudice.

30. That's wrong on several levels.

First, and most obviously, getting rid of lesbians is just flat out wrong.

Second, there is an inherent assumption on their part that all female soldiers are lesbians.

Third, they are making the assumption that women can't handle the military, when they've been handling it for decades.

I have a friend who just retired from the Navy. When she took her entrance exam, she scored 95%. They made her take it over again, because she must have cheated. So the second time, she scored a 97. They made her do it again, and she got a 98. She finally told them, "if you keep it up, eventually I will get 100."
