6. Geez, the guy is GAY! I don't care if he is, but shoot, there is just
so much of this stuff going on these days.

I get it that coming out is very difficult for a lot of people, but in the face of all that is being reported on Massa, for him to continue lying is just ridiculous.

Maybe I'm wrong here, but.....

16. I do believe so.
Geez, I feel a little bad for him in a way, because he is trying so hard to hide it in the face of the ongoing disapproval of gays. On the other hand, though, straight, gay or bi, it's really not okay to just grope somebody just because you want to.

At least he wasn't legislating against gay rights, so in that sense he wasn't a hypocrite like Craig and others who haven't been outed yet.

48. Oh, watching it takes no time at all
because between fast forwarding through the commercials, and the chit chat, and the little video vignettes of their lives and all that dreck, you can knock out an hour of American Idol in, like, 20 minutes. Sometimes I just listen to the performances and fast forward to Simon's comments.

In fact, I'm sure you wouldn't be surprised to find there's very little actual content in TV shows these day.

I like that guy in Human Target. I liked him Keen Eddie, but I never watched Boston Legal. Plus, Jackie Earle Haley was a pleasant surprise.

And really, that up there is just the tip of my bad TV habit. :)

78. Here:
Edited on Wed Mar-10-10 08:57 PM by Patsy Stone
The series follows the life of Christopher Chance (Mark Valley), a unique private contractor, bodyguard and security expert hired to protect his clients. He protects his clients by completely integrating himself into the lives of the client, to become the human target. Chance is accompanied by his business partner Winston (Chi McBride) and hired gun Guerrero (Jackie Earle Haley). He puts himself on the line to find the truth behind the mission. Even his own business partner, Winston, doesn't know what drove him towards this 'life'. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_Target_(TV_series)

Yesterday, I booked 1-800-Got-Junk? to come haul away a bunch of crap I don't use anymore that has been taking up space in my basement. They aren't coming out until the end of the month (had to wait until MrSG leaves town 'cause of his allergies). I LOVE spring cleaning when someone else has to do the cleaning!

51. I can be ruthless in getting rid of things, but 18 years of, "Well,
I'll just store it in the basement for now" and then not getting back to it is just too much for me. Sometimes you just have to ask yourself, "Do I want to spend the time or do I want to spend the money?" In this case, spending the money wins hands down!

even know where to start because there's so much. So when I saw 1-800-Got-Junk on Hoarders, I thought, THERE! That's how I can do it. I'd say probably 90% of the stuff in the basement can go, but trying to haul it out myself just makes my legs weak!

don't want anymore. Nice thing about the Got Junk folks is that they will take care of recycling things that can be recycled, and getting rid of the other stuff in appropriate ways, which I really like. I don't want everything to end up in the dump, because there ARE recyclable things here.

I remember when my Dad painted our rooms, and we got to pick out our own colors. I wanted dark purple, but Mom vetoed that, so I got lavender. When I moved out to go to college, it was quickly painted ecru.

61. You could be right!
 Looks like we're feeling domestic because of this warm spell or something. Makes you want to start fresh or something. I've actually been keeping things clean. Made a big pot of soup for dinner. Probably make bread and cookies tomorrow. Might even (shudder) scrub the kitchen floor.

76. I did the floors last week.
The water was black after 3 dunks of the mop, and that was just the bathroom. :scared:
(that's where the litterbox lives)

Yeah, I'm turning into a little Stepford Domestic. Oy!

Driving back from Whitewater, it looked like the land was possessed. :scared:

We're good! Both kitties got to "go outside" to the porch today. :)

77. I stitched a cloth Big Mac like that cloth burger in the photo once!
Batiked it back in high school.

...Know what I really miss? Seeing Keith chortle with merry glee over seeing Glenn Beck's show succumb to the Weapons of Massa Destruction.
