2. Damn, it's so sad.
I just feel drained. For him to lose both parents within a year...this has got to be so hard on him.

3. You did good Ted!

I was reading him his favorite James Thurber short stories, as he left us.

Sweet dreams and no worries we got Keith's back from here.

5. I don't know what to say.
My heart aches for you and your family. The pain of losing someone you love, someone so dear; is mind-numbing. You feel like you're in a daze. I know. I wish you peace.

7. I just read this. How heartbreaking.
I'm so glad, though, that Keith was able to spend so much time with his dad before he died.

My very heartfelt condolences to Keith and his sister.

8. All the love of the KOEB to you and your family, Keith.
How lucky you and Ted were to have each other, and of course that doesn't really ever end.

9. Planning a donation?
Are we planning a donation in his memory? I don't know if KO has announced a place to send donations.

10. This inspired me to write a poem.
More so after reading Keith's comment about how it all finally happened.

When the End Comes

If you should catch a glimpse of sadness in your eyes
when you see them in a reflection, sing a happy song.

If the new normal is that we should never speak again,
praise and exalt the time we had together,
because that's what I'll remember.

If things were left unsaid, if questions remain unanswered,
if we never see each other's smile again,
I'll focus on the wonder and beauty of each other
as we were.

Should life's plan decide it's over,
should it, in its (some say) infinite wisdom,
decide we should never be near each other again,
you may be tempted to think of the pain,
but my remaining days will be spent telling you I love you.

12. That poem speaks to my soul.
Utterly, utterly beautiful. Thank you for sharing it with us.
