11. Hi everyone!
:hi: I must admit, though, that I am very disappointed that Keith has chosen to take the cheap shot at Carly Fiorina tonight by ridiculing her up one side and down the other for speaking of Passover/Easter as a time when people "break bread together."

Matzoh IS bread, Keith. Unleavened bread. But it doesn't cease to be bread merely because it doesn't rise.

Communion wafers are "bread," or spoken of as "bread," all the time, as in "communion bread and wine." They're not leavened either. Why? Because they're meant to be a reflection of the Last Supper, which was...a Passover Seder. So of course, the bread Jesus broke was unleavened...but that didn't make it not bread.

Really, there are so many other reasons to mock Carly Fiorina, it's nitpicking and petty to ridicule her for this one. A waste. I've already gone on two threads on DU saying so, and I'm not changing my mind just because Keith is taking the easy shot.

So, how is everyone else??? I'm pissed because I left my phone recharger in Chicago and it hasn't turned up. And because it was kind of a wonky defective charger to begin with, I can't buy a new one here for anything because it's no longer sold. Which means I may have to BUY A NEW FUCKING PHONE.

I FUCKING HATE HAVING TO RE-BUY EXPENSIVE THINGS I ALREADY OWN!!!!!!!!! :grr:

pardon my bad mood, but I'm just enraged.

Regarding needing a new phone, check with your service provider and see if they have any deals. Last time I upgraded my phone, I got a Blackberry Curve for FREE. My husband just got a Droid for $127 with a $100 rebate, so it will only cost him $27.

And here, have a drink on me:

Sorry you're not having a good day.

14. And don't forget e-bay.
I got a brand new computer keyboard for $10. The other ones in the stores (which weren't like this model) were going for $25. And I got it in 3 days. :)

20. You have a point.
I got into a really violent fit one day at my video recorder (which as you all know, I hate) and flung its remote at the wall, splintering it into bits--and was able to replace it by going to some Web site that sold replacement remotes for jillions of models. Only $35 to pitch that fit, did it cost me... :eyes:

32. I guess I'm just an idiot, then.
I always thought matzoh was "unleavened bread."

Anyway, Keith seems to be joining the pile-on just as an excuse to rerun the FCINO ad, which to me is a lot more absurd than calling matzoh "bread."

Sadly, I am prone to pitching fits of rage at the smallest things. They usually involve me spending money to replace things I already owned but managed to break or misplace. Also things that just plain "don't work." *sigh*

42. Yeah, the shipping is actually costing me more than the charger!!!!
That's how deeply it's discounted!!!! Like I say, these babies are defective to begin with (you have to plug them in a certain way or they don't work)--the company is actually having to refund those of us who bought them, so ultimately this won't cost me much--I just didn't want to be chargerless until I got a new one.

Luckily my sister has the same model and she's going to bring her charger over so I can borrow it and I think I can get through the next few days on that charge. The problem is, with no land line, I'm completely unable to make calls with a dead cell phone.

And guess what happened while I was watching the end of Keith...MY FATHER CALLED EXPECTING ME TO BE FREE FOR A FRIENDLY CHAT!!!!!!! I am literally on ONE BAR, people. I have NO BATTERY TIME LEFT to even explain to my father why I can't talk to him!!!! I told him I couldn't talk to him right now and to call my sister and ask her why!!!!AGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!! :banghead: I'm going to email him later, but dammit, why'd he have to call me looking for someone to talk to TONIGHT??????? (Yes, that is what my father literally does; he calls around until one of his daughters answers, just so he has someone to talk to. GRRRRRRR!)
