I love that place. Love it. They were still rebuilding there, decades after the Allied bombs (!), the first time I went there, and things were much improved by the time I got back.

When our first daughter died, we sat on the porch and looked up to the sky and every time there was a beautiful sunset we said it was Kayla saying hi. Well, it's happened twice but there was a beautiful sunset but the sky looked like it had pink stripes. Hubby painted Cassie's new bedroom in pink/purple stripes.
