I don't plan to leave the hotel in Vegas. It's at the Rio and the conference is under the same roof as the hotel. I don't care if it's dry, hot is hot as far as I'm concerned.

What did you end up doing with the wardrobe snafu on Saturday?

34. I wore a Chico's Travelers material outfit

Wide legged pants and a tank top. Then I wore a matching jacket with embroidered flowers on the left side and the sleeve for the daytime stuff. For the dinner, I changed the top to one I bought at a local art gallery. I don't know how to describe it -- it's kind of a tapestry look, but a soft fabric, very pretty autumn colors, almost capelike, but with sleeves. It has a matching scarf. And I changed my shoes and necklace.

I have a wool cape with fur trim that I wore for a coat/jacket for outdoors. It was really cold.

39. I never saw a coat check.

I kept my stuff with me during the convention, but I got lucky for the dinner. Someone I know who's running for state senate had her son with her and he was taking her stuff to the car -- she changed completely. So, he took my stuff to their car as well. It worked out well because I was parked two blocks away and would have had to walk to my car. They were parked in the garage under the convention center in a great spot and they drove me to my car.
